THE BURNING MINE
BY ALIZABETH HARDY
It’s April 26th again and the storms are THUNDERING in to town. The ghost of BOB GIGGEN HIMMER is get bigger and bigger. The town people rushed over to the mine and tried to put out the fire floating with torches ready to burn the once beautiful gem mine. He lights it on fire. There are flames that the rain tries to put out but the flames. They brought back buckets and buckets, over and over, trying to put it out, but never did.
The next day, the people were still there. They were still trying to put out the fire, when all of a sudden “poof” the fire just went out. The town people were shocked that it never happened before. They looked for Bob Giggen Himmer but they never found him. It was a mystery.
Just then, they saw a paper lying on the ground but they couldn’t figure out what it was. It was blank. A girl picked it up and took it home. She was the only one who could read it. She told them, but they didn’t believe her. The town soon blew up and was never to be herd of again.
They end.
